Role Description:

We are seeking a proficient Surgical Support Technician to become a vital member of our perioperative healthcare team at Ephraim McDowell Health. In this role, you will be instrumental in aiding surgeons and lead nurses throughout surgical procedures within the Operating Room. Your duties will encompass delivering technical assistance, preserving sterile fields, and ensuring accurate counts in partnership with the Registered Nurse.

The ideal candidate will showcase professionalism, self-motivation, and excellent communication abilities. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Completion of an accredited Operating Room technician program or relevant experience
  • Experience: Proven competence in a clinical environment
  • Licenses: Basic Life Support certification required within three months of hire
