Surgical Nurse Specialist

Registered Nurse - Surgical Unit
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Unit at Sovah Health - Danville. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to surgical patients, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition to home or other care settings.
- Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
- Experience in clinical area preferred.
- American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- $20,000 sign-on bonus eligibility for full-time, bedside RNs.
- $4 Shift differential (2nd shift & evenings), $1 shift differential (weekends).
