Job Title: Receivables Management Specialist

Location: Remote

Working Hours: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday

Role Summary:

The Receivables Management Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing the efficient collection of outstanding payments, addressing discrepancies in billing, and ensuring meticulous financial documentation. The successful candidate will exhibit strong analytical capabilities, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to customer service excellence.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage incoming payments and financial transactions.
  • Accurately apply customer payments to respective invoices and accounts.
  • Engage with clients to follow up on overdue invoices and facilitate timely collections.
  • Document all collection efforts and customer interactions comprehensively.
  • Investigate and rectify any discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
  • Generate and present regular reports detailing the status of accounts receivable, including aging summaries.
  • Provide valuable insights and recommendations based on analysis of receivables data.
  • Address customer inquiries and disputes regarding billing and payments in a professional manner.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and prompt payment.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Support audit processes and compliance-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable or related administrative roles involving invoicing or financial transactions is preferred.
  • Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing payments and sensitive financial information.
  • Organizational Skills: Capacity to efficiently organize and manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry software, invoicing systems, spreadsheets, and general computer applications.
