Controller (Seattle) - Property Accounting Leadership

Bridge33 Capital: A Leader in Open-Air Retail Real Estate
We are seeking a seasoned Controller to lead our property accounting function, driving financial reporting, process improvement, and team management. This role reports to the Senior Director of Finance and is based in our Seattle office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee property accounting and financial reporting, ensuring adherence to GAAP and company policies.
- Develop and implement process improvements, streamlining accounting operations and enhancing revenue collections.
- Lead and manage the property accounting team, including hiring, training, and coaching.
- Collaborate with other business units to resolve issues and answer questions related to assets.
- Ensure compliance with lender covenants and requirements for financial reporting.
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in retail property accounting, with experience as a Controller or similar role.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field.
- Outstanding knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting, property accounting standard operating procedures, cost accounting, control policies, and GAAP.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills across all internal business units, senior leadership, and external stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $220,000, and the role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
