Job Title: Development Manager

Join the Air & Space Forces Association team as a Development Manager, responsible for leading and growing our fundraising programs to meet or exceed annual budget projections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and execute individual giving programs, including direct mail, monthly giving, and planned giving.
  • Manage a portfolio of individual donors, creating personalized asks and developing strategies for increasing donations.
  • Develop and implement new marketing campaigns and tactics, including social media and email outreach.
  • Research and cultivate new individual and major gifts prospects, employing best-practice strategies.
  • Assess and report on marketing efforts and maintain reports on giving levels and revenue generation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least five years' experience in development, with one to three years' supervisory experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of non-profit fundraising, development, and sponsorship practices.
  • Strong experience leading and executing on individual giving campaigns.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
Working Conditions:
  • Works out of Air Force Association's headquarters in Arlington, VA.
  • Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, subject to modification based on the needs of each program or site.
  • Operates in a professional office environment with travel to local offices, community partners, and events.
