Sarepta Therapeutics - Project Coordination Manager

The Project Coordination Manager plays a crucial role in partnering with the Business Development team to streamline evaluation and due diligence processes for strategic initiatives. Sarepta is recognized as a leading collaborator for genetic medicine enterprises globally and aims to strengthen its business development efforts. This position is essential in overseeing various workstreams to evaluate potential partnerships. The role necessitates close collaboration with diverse internal teams to establish project timelines and ensure that deadlines for transactions are adhered to. Furthermore, the position involves leading and participating in collaborative meetings, providing exposure to deal-making activities and opportunities for career progression within the business development sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate transaction-related tasks to guarantee the timely completion of deliverables by cross-functional teams.
  • Engage with prospective partners during comprehensive due diligence processes as part of Business Development discussions.
  • Outline project scope, objectives, and timelines in conjunction with functional teams.
  • Work alongside functional teams to ensure the prompt delivery of requirements and outputs.
  • Lead team meetings, evaluate project progress, and address challenges as necessary.
  • Monitor project status and deliverables utilizing project management software, providing updates to project and functional teams.
  • Contribute to enhancing the process for assessing external assets at Sarepta.
  • Organize internal and external scheduling meetings.
  • Develop internal presentations to illustrate progress in Business Development activities.
  • Manage special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in biology/chemistry or relevant experience in scientific principles.
  • A minimum of 3 years of project management experience within the biotech/pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong project management capabilities and the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Understanding of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry and the product development lifecycle.
  • Prior experience in drug development teams is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in managing intricate projects to completion.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
