We are partnering with a leading defense organization to find a highly skilled International Sales Manager to join their growing team.

This role will focus on developing and managing international sales by providing exceptional services to current clients and pursuing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Sales & Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans for assigned regions, focusing on aftermarket spare parts and land vehicle sales for OEMs in the defense industry.
  • Meet sales targets and increase market presence through strategic planning and execution.
  • Produce and provide marketing materials required to market and sell products and services.
  • Attend trade events as necessary to represent and promote the company.
  • Conduct frequent customer visits, requiring frequent travel.
  • Understand and respect local customs and cultures.
  • Gain knowledge of client trends, requirements, and budget cycles.
  • Interact with clients through various communication channels.
  • Conduct client satisfaction surveys.

Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the defense industry and its clientele.
  • Ability to grow the aftermarket industry's customer base and revenue.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the capacity to spot opportunities and manage accounts effectively.
  • Knowledge of trends, challenges, events, and requirements in the global defense market.
  • Capability to develop processes, business letters, and reports.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly driven, energetic, and success-focused individual.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a courteous and tactful approach.
  • Must be extremely organized, meticulous, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Prior account management or sales experience is necessary.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A bachelor's degree and/or five to seven years of relevant experience.
