Job Overview

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the diesel parts and trucking industry. As our Permanent Outside Sales Manager, you will lead a high-performing sales team and drive the growth of our diesel parts division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the diesel parts and trucking industry.
  • Lead and manage a team of outside sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Sourcing parts from reliable suppliers and negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key clients in the trucking and transportation industry.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reporting on sales performance and market trends to senior management.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential markets for expansion.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to sales team members to ensure their skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
  • Work closely with other departments such as marketing and customer service to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership, specifically in the diesel parts and trucking industry.
  • A deep understanding of the trucking and transportation industry, including the sourcing and selling of diesel parts.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
