Maintenance Planning Manager

As a key member of the Constellation Energy team, the Maintenance Planning Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our power plants. This position will be responsible for managing and monitoring the work activities of the planning group, Component Optimization Group, and FIN Team to achieve divisional, departmental, site, and corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities- Work Control and Scheduling: Participate in all aspects of work control, coordination, and scheduling to ensure that maintenance work is properly assigned, planned, and ready to work.
- Departmental Resource Management: Manage and monitor departmental resources and expenditures for all assigned work, including refuel outages, within the approved budget.
- Staff Management: Effectively manage assigned staff to ensure that all divisional activities are performed safely and effectively by trained workers in accordance with plant procedures, NRC regulations, and the site schedule.
- Work Package Development: Develop efficient and complete work packages for all maintenance activities that require planning to execute on-line, forced outage, refuel outage, and unplanned power reduction work.
- Component Optimization: Manage the overall development, implementation, and monitoring of the component optimization group, utilizing preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance technologies to maximize equipment reliability, plant performance, and departmental work planning efficiency.
- FIN Team Management: Effectively manage the FIN team to improve equipment reliability and minimize impact to station scheduled activities.
- CMO Group Management: Effectively manage the CMO Group to improve equipment reliability and minimize impact to station scheduled activities (for single units).
- Maintenance Department Management: Participate in all aspects of Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient operation of the plant, including the development, implementation, and performance monitoring of all corporate, site, and divisional business goals and objectives.
- Communication: Effectively communicate significant plant and personnel issues to Maintenance Director and all applicable levels of station management, fostering open communications and collaboration between all organizations internal and external to the plant, including INPO and regulatory agencies.
- Engineering Interface: Interface with on-site Engineering to support development of plant modifications work packages.
- Education: Individual must possess a 4-year technical degree and have 10 years of utility or related industry experience, or an Associate's degree with 10 years of utility or related industry experience and 5 years at the supervisory level.
