Expected salary range of $125,100 to $139,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
Responsibilities:
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Accountable for supervising, developing, and mentoring the assigned planners.
Responsible for assigning, coordinating, and executing daily work activities to ensure a productive workforce that aligns with all Maintenance Planning objectives in accordance with the QA Manual, company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Provide supervisory oversight for the planning of work packages for tasks to be executed by the respective Maintenance departments.Ensure packages are planned in accordance with plant procedures with the utmost quality, ultimately guaranteeing the plant is maintained in a safe and reliable state.
Conduct analysis and assist in formulating recommendations to the Maintenance Planning Manager to facilitate strategic decisions for enhancing the work planning process.
The Maintenance Planning Supervisor, when not fulfilling supervisory duties, will plan packages (as applicable based on site). The Maintenance Planning Supervisor will also serve as a backup to the Manager of Maintenance Planning in their absence.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Supervises Maintenance Planners for scheduled and urgent work for both On-line and Outage conditions.
Ensure that all assigned activities are executed effectively and efficiently in compliance with plant procedures and local, state, and federal regulations.
Contribute to performance evaluations for assigned planners. Provide developmental opportunities and coaching for responsible planners to drive individual and departmental improvement. Collaborate with Work Management, Supply, and Engineering to identify and resolve work package challenges.
Provide input to the Maintenance Planning Manager regarding areas for improvement, perform internal trending of performance for responsible planners, execute required CAP products, and offer coaching/counseling to respective planners as necessary.
Prepare/Revise work instructions as necessary that provide guidance to the Maintenance Department for maintenance repairs, performance of preventive maintenance, and surveillances, as well as the implementation of modifications.
Act as the Manager of Maintenance Planning in their absence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
4 years' experience in the craft that he/she supervises and plans.
At least three years of experience must be in a planning function to support the E-0 duty requirement.
Must have completed a positive Leadership Assessment (FLS).
Excellent communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities.
Demonstrated strong leadership potential and accountability.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year technical degree.
Previous Corrective Action / Root Cause Analysis Training.
2-year technical degree with 8 years of utility or related industry experience.
