COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Constellation Energy provides a comprehensive array of benefits and rewards designed to support our employees' professional and personal growth. Our anticipated salary range is between $135,000 and $150,000, depending on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee and coordinate the activities of the planning group, Component Optimization Group, and FIN Team to ensure a productive workforce that aligns with all divisional, departmental, site, and corporate objectives while adhering to company policies and relevant regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in all facets of work control, coordination, and scheduling, including online operations, load reductions, forced outages, and refuel outages, to guarantee that maintenance tasks are appropriately assigned, planned, and ready for execution. Manage and oversee departmental resources and expenditures for all assigned tasks, including refuel outages, within the approved budget.
  • Effectively supervise assigned personnel (e.g., hiring, development, compensation, performance evaluation, and ensuring training certification compliance) to ensure that all divisional activities are conducted safely and efficiently by qualified personnel in accordance with plant procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the creation of efficient and comprehensive work packages for all maintenance tasks requiring planning for online operations, forced outages, refuel outages, and unplanned power reductions. This includes managing both internal and external planning staff, including maintenance contract personnel.
  • Accountable for the overall development, implementation, and monitoring of the component optimization group, which involves utilizing preventative, predictive, and proactive maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability, plant performance, and departmental work planning efficiency.
  • Effectively lead the FIN team to boost equipment reliability and minimize disruptions to scheduled station activities.
  • Manage the CMO Group to enhance equipment reliability and reduce impacts on scheduled station activities (for single units).
  • Participate in all aspects of Maintenance Department management to support the safe and efficient operation of the plant, including the development, implementation, and performance monitoring of all corporate, site, and divisional business objectives.
  • Communicate significant plant and personnel matters to the Maintenance Director and relevant levels of station management, fostering open communication and collaboration across all internal and external organizations, including regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with on-site Engineering to support the development of plant modification work packages.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • A four-year technical degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the utility or related industry, or an Associate's degree with ten years of experience in the utility or related industry, including five years in a supervisory role.
  • Must meet ANSI requirements for site Maintenance Manager.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Successful completion of core supervisory and management training and development programs is highly desirable.
