COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The anticipated salary range is between $125,100 and $139,000, depending on experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) plan.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supervisor of Maintenance Planning is accountable for overseeing, mentoring, and developing the assigned planning team. This role involves assigning, coordinating, and executing daily operational tasks to ensure a productive workforce that aligns with all Maintenance Planning objectives, adhering to the QA Manual, company policies, and relevant regulations. The supervisor will ensure that work packages are planned in accordance with plant procedures, maintaining the highest quality standards to guarantee the plant's safe and reliable operation. Additionally, the supervisor will analyze and provide recommendations to the Maintenance Planning Manager to facilitate strategic enhancements in the work planning process. In instances where the supervisor role is not in effect, the Supervisor of Maintenance Planning will also engage in planning packages as necessary. Furthermore, this position serves as a backup to the Manager of Maintenance Planning during their absence.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Oversee Maintenance Planners for both scheduled and urgent work across On-line and Outage conditions, ensuring all assigned tasks are executed effectively and in compliance with plant procedures and regulations. Contribute to performance evaluations for assigned planners and provide development opportunities and coaching to enhance individual and departmental performance. Collaborate with Work Management, Supply, and Engineering to identify and resolve issues related to work packages.
- Provide input to the Maintenance Planning Manager regarding areas for improvement, conduct internal performance trending for assigned planners, and deliver necessary coaching and counseling as required.
- Review work packages for quality and readiness, ensuring work instructions meet all applicable station procedures and standards. Approve all necessary work packages, including any required screenings or evaluations.
- Prepare and revise work instructions as needed to guide the Maintenance Department in maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and the implementation of modifications.
- Act as a substitute for the Manager of Maintenance Planning during their absence.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the relevant craft.
- At least 3 years of experience in a planning role to meet E-0 duty requirements.
- Completion of a positive Leadership Assessment (FLS) is required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and planning abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and accountability.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- A four-year technical degree.
- Prior training in Corrective Action and Root Cause Analysis.
- A two-year technical degree combined with 8 years of experience in the utility or related industry.
