Enprotech is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of our metal forming and steel industry operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in machining, fabrication, or mechanical assembly operations, as well as leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organization policies, practices, and procedures to achieve operating goals.
  • Review, analyze, and prepare reports, records, and directives to inform planning activities.
  • Assign and delegate responsibility for specified work or functional activities, and disseminate policies and objectives to supervisors and staff.
  • Organize resources to ensure effective production of goods and services.
  • Give work direction, resolve problems, prepare schedules, and set deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Evaluate current procedures and practices to develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
  • Ensure adequate training of staff and team member compliance to the organization's policies and practices.
  • Ensure that all work is manufactured in a correct, cost-effective, and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements.
  • Coordinate activities of the department with related activities of other departments to ensure efficiency and economy.
  • Monitor and analyze costs, and prepare department budgets.
  • Prepare reports and records on department activities for management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in machining, fabrication, or mechanical assembly operations.
  • 3-5 years in a management or supervisory role.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, development, and oversight experience.
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting, and metrics.
  • Basic computer skills (databases, Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
Travel Requirements

Up to 10% travel required.
