Job Title: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze production metrics and make recommendations for improvements and solutions to issues that are identified.
  • Ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that project/production milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Train and support staff to ensure they have the tools to meet OTD target results and provide proper communication regarding business performance metrics on a daily basis.
  • Support General Manager with systems and tools implementation that supports Westfall stated metrics, goals, and strategic objectives.
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Engineering degree with a minimum of 4 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Injection molding experience required.
  • CPG Manufacturing preferred.
  • Experience in engineering project management and/or supply chain forecasting, inventory, and procurement experience.
  • A proven track record of cost reduction and work simplification using lean and six sigma tools.
Work Environment:

The work environment is usually within a manufacturing facility with a moderate noise level.
