Job Summary:

The Commercial Lines Account Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients and driving business growth. This includes providing support to sales teams, analyzing client needs, and developing strategic renewal plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support sales teams in developing new business opportunities and analyzing client needs.
  • Initiate renewal processes and collaborate with sales producers to create renewal strategies.
  • Conduct market research, negotiate rates, and review quotes for competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Prepare marketing results summaries and proposals.
  • Finalize proposals and presentations in coordination with producers.
  • Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders and certificates.
  • Review policies for accuracy and verify contracts.
  • Schedule appointments with clients and identify exposure to loss.
  • Complete applications, submit to carriers, and follow up on quotations and policies.
  • Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, and endorsements.
  • Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals for clients and prospects.
  • Review audits of policies and facilitate corrections between clients and carriers.
  • Determine reasons for cancellation requests and act to save accounts.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in the commercial insurance industry or similar role.
  • Active State of Florida Property & Casualty Insurance License: 2-20 required.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse individuals and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
