AFROTC Program Coordinator

The AFROTC Program Coordinator provides administrative support to the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) program at Washington State University. This role involves a combination of functional areas, including university funds expenditure, administrative support, postal/mail correspondence, office management, public relations, records management, equipment issue/inventory, and report preparation.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support, oversee unit budget and fiscal processes, coordinate program support functions with external agencies, oversee general office coordination, and occasionally make complex travel arrangements. This position requires the application of independent judgment based on considerable knowledge of the functions of the AFROTC, Washington State University, and University of Idaho.
The AFROTC Program Coordinator will serve as the primary point of operational and administrative contact for internal and external constituencies on complex and confidential issues. The ideal candidate will have a high school graduation or equivalent and two years of experience in the program specialty, or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred qualifications include experience using RONet, myFacilities, ITS Customer Center, myWSU, and Workday, as well as proficiency in computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working in higher education is also desirable.
This is a permanent position with a monthly salary range of $3,477 to $4,632. The position is eligible for overtime and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, medical, dental, life, and disability insurance, retirement, and deferred compensation.
