Overview:


The selected candidate will report directly to the Supervisor of Resource Coordination and will assist in the management of Vendor Personnel at the designated manufacturing facility.

This position necessitates effective communication across various levels of management. The individual will oversee the onboarding process for both Vendor and internal personnel at the manufacturing site.

The candidate will be tasked with handling invoicing, system updates, and providing general operational support for Vendor personnel on-site.

This role requires a proactive self-starter who can adapt to changing plans, possesses experience in data management, and is prepared to thrive in a dynamic production environment that supports operational departments and program management.


Key Responsibilities:
Consistent data entry in multiple systems (e.g., PeopleSoft)

Management of business system deactivations, modifications, and maintenance

Overseeing a database to monitor employee HR and quality concerns

Collaborating with IT to resolve access issues for personnel

Maintaining employee records in business systems, including shift assignments and work locations

Updating the Contractor Renewal Database

Coordinating with relevant departments on invoicing and approval processes

Managing and maintaining training for vendor onboarding

Developing onboarding materials for program representatives

Facilitating training and mentorship for on-site program representatives

Organizing vendor relations training for new employees

Qualifications:

Required:
Associate's Degree

Experience in leadership or project management

Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word

Attention to detail in data entry

Background in shipbuilding or trades

Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Preferred:
In-depth understanding of manufacturing facilities and onboarding processes

Administrative experience

Familiarity with vendor management

Human Resources experience

Experience in industrial or trade training

Knowledge of business systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, ATA, etc.)

Skills:
Strong collaboration and communication abilities

Demonstrated leadership capabilities

Ability to work independently while engaging with all management levels

Willingness to collaborate on resource planning and staffing

Capacity to learn and adapt swiftly in a demanding environment

Excellent organizational and facilitation skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels

Strong time management abilities

Task-oriented with the capability to prioritize multiple responsibilities

Robust problem-solving and analytical skills
