Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Kalispel Tribe of Indians - KTEA. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of room assignments and payments.
  • Provide anticipatory service, anticipating guests' needs and exceeding their expectations.
  • Answer guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Balance bank at end of shift and notify Supervisors or Managers of any discrepancies.
  • Answer telephones within three rings and respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other associates to maintain high service standards and ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Upsell guests on rooms, services, and amenities to maximize revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Comply with hotel safety and Loss Control Procedures, ensuring a secure and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Process guest comps and balance all credit card transactions throughout the hotel.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and respond accordingly in the event of an emergency.
  • Adhere to four-star/four-diamond service standards, ensuring exceptional service and quality in all interactions with guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Three to six months related experience and/or training; 1-2 years related college courses a plus.
  • Experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Gaming License.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
