Home Health Care Registered Nurse Opportunity

VNS Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality home health care services in the Bronx, New York area.


Program Overview

The VNS Health Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive training program designed to empower recent RN graduates with hands-on clinical experience and training to develop the next generation of expert home care clinicians.

This two-year, full-time, hybrid training program combines in-depth classroom instruction, a caseload of patient visits guided by preceptor supervision, and mentorship from our esteemed nurse educators.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized nursing and care management to patients in their home or care facilities
  • Constantly evaluate evolving patient needs and respond with plan of care adjustments
  • Participate in classroom learning activities and shadow RNs to gain field experience
  • Practice in the community with a preceptor as part of an interdisciplinary care team

Requirements

A degree in Nursing from an approved program is required. No prior work experience in nursing is necessary.
