The Carol Milgard Breast Center is seeking a dedicated Breast Imaging Technologist to enhance our Mammo Technologist team. This role encompasses executing mammographic procedures in accordance with ARRT/ACR standards and ethical guidelines. The technologist is responsible for adhering to organizational policies and ensuring that both patient and physician requirements are fulfilled. Key responsibilities include merging scientific expertise with technical proficiency and effective patient communication to provide high-quality care and diagnostic insights.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Rate: $59.83, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Additionally, a +15% hourly bonus is available for per diem roles.
Work Schedule and Location:
This position is classified as Per Diem, necessitating travel to various TRA locations. Per Diem staff are expected to complete a minimum of 2 shifts or 16 hours monthly.

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care consistent with TRA's mission
- Adapt to rotating shifts and various work environments as necessary
- Prepare patients for mammography procedures with clear guidance
- Accurately execute physician directives for mammograms
- Uphold high standards in documenting patient information
- Present quality radiographs and patient histories to radiologists
- Engage in effective written and verbal communication with patients and team members
- Perform essential computer functions related to examinations
- Maintain organized and adequately stocked workspaces
- Participate in training sessions and uphold professionalism
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide precise information to key stakeholders
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- ARRT (R) Registry required
- ARRT (M) Registered or eligible
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist Certification
- Current BLS certification
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in utilizing computer systems
- Effectively manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibit strong customer service capabilities

- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Moderate physical demands with the ability to assist patients of varying weights. Capable of standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods and operating office equipment.

Working Environment:
Standard office conditions with potential exposure to communicable diseases and limited ionizing radiation exposure.
