Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team at the Carol Milgard Breast Center. As a key member of our Mammo Technologist team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the center's mission of providing sustainable breast health services to our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammographic functions under supervision, adhering to ARRT/ACR standards and ethics.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, including regulatory changes and safety standards.
  • Integrate scientific knowledge and technical skills with effective patient interaction to provide quality patient care and diagnostic information.
  • Rotate shifts as needed and maintain a professional demeanor with confidentiality.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, physicians, and co-workers, utilizing accurate written and oral communication.
  • Perform necessary computer functions associated with patient exams and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and in-service training for personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Valid ARRT-(R) certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills using AIDET/4 A's.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and computer information systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and have respectful behavior while working with co-workers.
