Job Summary:

Carol Milgard Breast Center is seeking a skilled Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Mammo Technologist team, you will be responsible for performing mammographic functions under supervision, adhering to ARRT/ACR standards and ethics.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient interaction skills, integrating scientific knowledge and technical skills to provide quality patient care and diagnostic information.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care in accordance with the mission statement of TRA.
  • Rotate shifts as needed.
  • Prepare patients for mammography exams with thorough explanations and clear instructions.
  • Obtain patient histories and accurately implement orders from referring physicians.
  • Present high-quality radiographs and patient history to radiologists.
  • Utilize accurate written and oral communication with patients, physicians, and co-workers.
  • Perform computer functions associated with patient exams.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with confidentiality.
  • Cooperate with co-workers to ensure proper patient care and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
  • Valid ARRT-(R) certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Proficient in computer information systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Work Environment:

Normal office or administrative working conditions. Limited exposure to ionizing radiation.
