Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Breast Imaging Specialist to join our team at the Carol Milgard Breast Center. As a Resident Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the mission of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mammographic procedures under supervision, adhering to ARRT/ACR standards and ethics.
  • Prepare patients for exams, providing thorough explanations and clear instructions.
  • Obtain patient histories and accurately implement orders from referring physicians.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and record-keeping.
  • Present high-quality radiographs and patient information to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Utilize effective communication skills with patients, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Perform computer functions associated with patient exams.
  • Ensure a clean and stocked work environment.
  • Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and in-service training.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications
  • Valid ARRT-(R) certification.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer information systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
