Position Summary

Rechtien International Trucks is in search of a motivated and experienced Truck Sales Specialist/Account Executive to enhance our sales team. The successful candidate will focus on driving sales performance and nurturing enduring customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the sale and delivery of vehicles to clients.
  • Develop and maintain existing client accounts through effective relationship management.
  • Employ cold calling and networking strategies to generate new leads.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and agreements with customers.
  • Prepare and process sales orders accurately.
  • Stay informed about all products and services offered by Rechtien, including new industry developments.
  • Greet and assist customers who visit the dealership or sales lot.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the sector.
  • Analyze and follow up on leads generated by the marketing team.
  • Clearly explain product performance, applications, and benefits to potential customers.
  • Detail optional equipment available for purchase.
  • Ensure all closed deals are processed correctly with the finance and insurance manager.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to their arrival.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and documentation.
  • Follow up on all post-delivery items to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in sales meetings and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Previous sales experience and/or knowledge of the mid/heavy-duty truck industry, particularly with International brands.
  • Strong sales negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
