Job Summary

Towson University, a top 100 public university, seeks a skilled Administrative Assistant II to provide complex support to the Department of Kinesiology in the College of Health Professions. This role requires a high level of organizational and analytical skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage departmental files, reports, and databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process and monitor financial transactions, including budget preparation and travel reimbursement.
  • Coordinate department meetings, events, and logistics, including room reservations and parking arrangements.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with schedule building, equipment inventory, and other administrative duties as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience providing administrative support.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new assignments.
