Territory Sales Manager

As a Territory Sales Manager at The Hillman Group, you will be responsible for managing assigned territories to achieve sales plans while maintaining excellent customer service and relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Achieve sales goals and objectives through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Develop new accounts through prospecting and identify growth opportunities through expansions of existing customers.
- Generate additional sales by selling new products and programs, and maintain consistent call cycles with existing accounts.
- Develop professional business relationships with customers and management, and communicate effectively with both groups.
- Work closely with existing accounts to grow and develop their market share, and maintain a partnership built on trust and integrity.
- Stay up-to-date on current market trends and inform management of any competitive issues.
- Provide a superior level of service to existing accounts, and maintain adequate call cycles and call frequencies.
- Prepare special orders, pricing, and business agreements, and complete all administrative job requirements.
- Maintain a current knowledge of the company's policies, products, programs, and field operations.
- College degree or equivalent work-related experience.
- Personal Leadership skills, including taking initiative and following through on promises.
- Internal and External Customer Service skills, including cooperative behavior and anticipating customer needs.
- Effective communication and organizational skills, including time management and multi-tasking.
The Sales/Service environment varies due to location and store set-up. May be exposed to cramped quarters, dust, fumes, or odors. Travel is required daily, and may involve driving up to 200 miles daily.
Physical demands include medium lifting up to 30 lbs, and occasional pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs.
