Job Overview:
Beaver Creek Ski Resort is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Assistant Store Manager. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about the Burton brand and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fulfill manager-on-duty responsibilities as scheduled.
  • Support the Store Manager in maintaining operational standards and adhering to company policies.
  • Uphold high standards of retail presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness as directed by management.
  • Assist in driving sales while ensuring a professional and enthusiastic guest service experience.
  • Maintain accurate company documentation in accordance with established policies.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to monitor and manage daily operational budgets, including payroll.
  • Participate in the recruitment and retention of a skilled core team.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new staff in areas such as point of sale systems, product knowledge, and customer service.
  • Communicate company values and objectives effectively to team members.
  • Lead inventory management efforts to meet or exceed targets.
  • Enforce cash handling and loss prevention protocols.
  • Stay informed about new industry products and trends, demonstrating product knowledge.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude, motivation, and the ability to multitask.
  • Communicate any ideas or concerns to the Store Manager.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of retail experience, preferably in snow sports.
  • At least 1 year of management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, as the store operates seven days a week.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with rental and retail point of sale systems.

Compensation:
The expected pay range for this position is $25 - $27 per hour, based on various factors.
