Position Summary:

At Vail Resorts, exceptional service is at the core of our mission. Our retail management team plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer experiences. As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring our store reflects our brand values while providing top-notch service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, including performance monitoring and budget management; serve as acting manager in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Maintain accurate records related to performance, sales, inventory, and equipment.
  • Recruit and train staff on point-of-sale systems, product knowledge, customer service, and loss prevention protocols.
  • Evaluate team performance, providing constructive feedback and recognition as needed.
  • Stay informed about product offerings and deliver excellent customer service through prompt responses to inquiries and feedback.
  • Engage in leadership discussions to share insights on store performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, including merchandising and rental operations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; further education in business is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in retail; experience in the ski industry is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, multitasking effectively.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English is required.

The expected compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.
