Job Summary:

The Retail Supervisor is responsible for maintaining exceptional customer service standards, driving sales growth, and ensuring the efficient operation of the retail department. This role acts as a store department lead, overseeing inventory levels, and implementing strategies to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate sales and provide professional guest service
  • Open and close the store, ensuring a secure environment
  • Analyze sales trends and develop methods to increase sales
  • Manage retail and rental inventory control, meeting or exceeding inventory goals
  • Enforce cash handling policies and loss prevention procedures
  • Lead and train a sales team, promoting effective communication and customer service
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
  • Ensure accurate pricing and promotions
  • Stock shelves, counters, and tables with merchandise
Requirements:
  • Previous retail sales experience required
  • Previous snow sport industry experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently in accurate spoken and written English
  • Ability to maintain a working knowledge of products and industry trends
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends
