Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repair of equipment and building systems, requiring practical skill and knowledge in electrical trades.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including generators, transformers, switchboards, and circuit breakers.
  • Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment, working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.
  • Use a variety of electrician's hand and power tools and measuring and testing instruments.
  • Communicate effectively with management, teammates, and customers to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Establish and maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
Requirements
  • Must hold a current/valid Electrician (Journeyman's - Virginia) license.
  • Must have strong understanding of electrical theory and current codes and standard practices.
  • Should have a minimum of five years' experience in commercial/industrial facilities.
  • Should present excellent fundamental understanding of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair principles.
Working Conditions

The Electrical Maintenance Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, often in a sitting position for 8 or more hours per day. The position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds as needed. Travel to and from job locations by automobile (personal vehicle) may be required.
