About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to join our team at BridgePhase, LLC. As a key member of our software engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated build, test, and deployment processes leveraging DevSecOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Automated Processes: Develop and implement automated build, test, and deployment processes using DevSecOps best practices.
  • Manage Containerization Technologies: Manage containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker to ensure efficient and scalable infrastructure.
  • Perform Security Hardening and Performance Tuning: Perform security hardening and performance tuning for EKS clusters to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and Maintain Helm Charts: Develop and maintain Helm charts to ensure smooth deployment and management of applications.
  • Optimize Kubernetes Resource Allocation and Autoscaling Configurations: Optimize Kubernetes resource allocation and autoscaling configurations to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Integrate Security Tools and Practices into CI/CD Pipelines: Integrate security tools and practices into CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and compliant software delivery.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC): Implement IaC and CaC using tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployment.
  • Maintain and Optimize AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud-Based Resources: Maintain and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-based resources to ensure efficient and scalable operations.
  • Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Security Teams: Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
Requirements
  • Hands-on Experience in CI/CD, DevSecOps, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Possess hands-on experience in one or more of these areas to ensure expertise in software delivery and infrastructure management.
  • Strong Understanding of Industry Standards and Best Practices: Possess a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for building services in cloud-based IaaS/PaaS/SaaS environments.
  • Strong Collaboration and Communication Skills: Possess strong collaboration and communication skills to ensure effective teamwork and communication with stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Scripting Languages: Possess familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python to ensure efficient automation and scripting.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC): Possess experience with IaC and CaC using tools like Packer, Terraform, Ansible, and Helm to ensure consistent and repeatable infrastructure deployment.
  • Proficiency in Working with Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS): Possess proficiency in working with EKS to ensure efficient and scalable containerization.
  • Active Secret Clearance: Possess an active Secret clearance to ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • B.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or Technical Degree: Possess a B.S. in engineering, computer science, or a technical degree, or equivalent industry experience.
