As a Scientific Operations Specialist at Equiliem, you will play a crucial role in supporting the lab's daily operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient and safe lab operations.
  • Mentor and train new team members to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Collaborate with the team lead to identify and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the proper handling and transportation of glassware and contaminated items.
  • Operate autoclaves, glassware washers, dry heat sterilizers, and ultrasonic baths to maintain a clean and sanitized environment.
  • Perform routine inspections and checks on glassware and equipment to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Prepare items for sanitization and inspect glassware for cleanliness and structural defects.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of glassware and notify the Glassware Lead of any deficiencies.
  • Provide housekeeping services for the glassware processing areas.
  • Follow all procedures and protocols to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the lab.
