Job Title: System Administrator

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team in Alexandria, VA. As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining existing enterprise identity management solutions, troubleshooting incidents, and assisting with transitioning new capabilities from the engineering team to production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot identity management systems, including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Active Directory Connect.
  • Assist with implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining identity management systems.
  • Provide support for implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining identity management systems.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to collect data, conduct analysis, develop, and implement solutions associated with incident tickets and requirements.
  • Build and deploy Domain Controllers and other identity management servers through remote means at customer sites utilizing approved installation procedures.
  • Provide follow-up reports (technical findings, feedback, resolution steps taken) for root cause analysis, engineering technical assessment, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Update operations and maintenance documentation for 24/7/365 enterprise watch personnel.
  • Support operations across multiple geographic locations and network classifications.
  • Work with Operations, Engineering, and vendor support to develop solutions to complex technical issues.
Requirements:
  • Experience with PowerShell commands and scripting/automation.
  • Experience or functional knowledge with Identity Management technologies, including Microsoft Identity Manager, Forefront Identity Manager, Azure Active Directory Connect, Active Directory Federation Service, ADFS Web Application Proxy, Quest Active Roles Server, LDAP Border Directory Systems, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, Radiant Logic, and VDS.
  • Experience with Quest ARS PowerShell extensions and implementing ARS task automation.
  • Experience with Tier 2/Tier 3 system administration.
  • Experience interacting with customers during the course of troubleshooting incidents and system anomalies.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues in a growing environment.
  • Experience with log reviews, incident analysis, and identification of issue trends.
  • Experience with server patch management methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a virtual team and support peers toward improved processes and results.
  • Experience with support ticket management systems.
Education and Training:

Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoD IAT Level II certification requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP along with an appropriate computing environment (CE) certification).

The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of prior relevant experience, a Master's with 10 years of prior relevant experience, an Associate's Degree with 14 years of prior relevant experience, or 16 years of prior relevant experience in lieu of education.

Clearance:

An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required for this position or TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a poly.

US citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contracts we support.
