Front Desk Support Specialist

**Job Description:**
We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Front Desk professional to join our team at Middle Tennessee Internal Med. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and support services.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Registration: Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect co-payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Telephone Coverage: Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, forwarding calls to the appropriate staff member or voicemail as needed.
- Chart Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, scanning, faxing, and copying documents as required.
- Reminder Calls: Make reminder calls to patients for upcoming appointments and follow-up care.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, mailings, and other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED: Required
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using electronic health records systems, Microsoft Office software, and other relevant technologies.
