Zonal Distribution Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zonal Distribution Leader to join our team in New York. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the distribution strategy for our zone, working closely with underwriting, client development, and national business leaders to formulate and execute distribution strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate resources among business developers, underwriters, and claims to execute on global, national, and local strategies.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in our core geographies, working closely with product leaders to deliver tailored distribution solutions.
- Provide local brokerages with a clear access point into the organization, acting as the lead broker engagement representative in the zone.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, generating trust and credibility with those who impact the buying decision.
- Ensure client data is fully populated and kept current in the Salesforce database, with relevant client strategies and information for the entire zone.
- Facilitate brokers' understanding of Allianz Commercial underwriting appetites and capabilities.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in underwriting or development roles in industrial/specialty insurance business.
- 10 years of experience in prospecting new clients in industrial/specialty insurance segment.
- 10 years of experience fostering long-term, profitable relationships at senior levels in broker and client organizations.
- 5-7 years of experience working in an international organization, with overseas assignments or equivalent exposure to international insurance programs.
- 10 years of experience in leadership and influencing others without authority.
- Degree preferred in Economics, Business Administration, or Law.
- Professional qualification preferred, such as ACII or equivalent.
