Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance Operations Coordinator to join our team at Veolia Environnement SA. As a key member of our facilities and maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance activities and providing administrative support to our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Tasks: Process purchase requisitions, goods receipts, and data entry into SAP and other site computer systems.
  • Maintenance Support: Communicate maintenance data to relevant roles, update maintenance procedures and equipment files, and assist with shipping, receiving, and storeroom management tasks.
  • SAP Support: Assist with SAP training and troubleshooting, input maintenance mechanic work order feedback, and manage the process to update maintenance procedures and equipment files.
  • Vendor Management: Follow up with vendors regarding shipment or return of items and research miscellaneous items as requested.
  • Cost Tracking: Work with site staff members to keep cost tracking sheets updated and accurate, and communicate to the site maintenance manager or plant manager on any pivot table costs for materials/services/capital expenditures.
  • Team Support: Act as primary backup for office administrative assistant, learn skills and tasks that require continuity for business needs, and audit the SAP work order database.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Skills: Ability to navigate Microsoft Office Suite, Google equivalent suite, and learn new computer systems and software applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills, and willingness to learn new skills and expand scope of responsibility over time.
  • Certifications: Current and valid driver's license, willingness and ability to obtain powered industrial truck certification, and ability to obtain TWIC (Transportation workers identification credential) card once employed.
