Automation Specialist

CraftMark Bakery, LLC is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. As a Controls Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our automated bakery.
Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, including electrical systems, PLCs, HMIs, motion control instrumentation, and system networks.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including PMs and equipment calibration.
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of our automated bakery, adhering to GMP guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to troubleshoot issues and perform equipment maintenance tasks.
- Provide assistance in scheduling machine repairs and rebuilds.
- Work on projects to improve production throughput and system component visibility.
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent technical training and work experience.
- 1+ years of related experience in electrical controls, PLC programming, and maintenance.
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of electronic circuitry, electrical and pneumatic schemes, equipment prints, and facility maintenance.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley Logix 500 and Logix 5000 software, Mitsubishi PLC/HMI, and Inductive Automation Ignition SCADA system.
