Help Desk Technician Job Description

The Help Desk Technician role at 7 Eagle is a dynamic position that requires a passion for technology and a willingness to learn. As a member of our team, you will provide technical assistance to clients related to computer hardware and software, working both remotely and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other computer-related devices.
  • Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking, and follow-up of all incidents.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software problems.
  • Document processes and procedures as required.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the MSP Manager.
Requirements:
  • A passion for technology and learning.
  • A clear, friendly, and professional phone manner.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical terminology to non-technical end-users.
  • The ability to handle multiple assignments with attention to detail.
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • The ability to physically lift and move existing and new PC system components.
Preferred Skills:
  • A+ certification.
  • Sec+ certification.
  • Network+ certification.
