Job Title: Service Desk Technician

Join General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) as a Service Desk Technician and play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' systems. As a Service Desk Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and effective support to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Log and track incidents and service requests, maintaining accurate records and escalating complex issues to senior technicians as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, applying this knowledge to improve support processes and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a systems administration or IT environment.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE certification or higher.
  • Fully adjudicated Top Secret-SCI security clearance; CI/Polygraph may be required after hire.
  • US Citizenship required due to clearance requirements.
