Job Summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Front Desk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our patient access team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and efficient patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Check-in and Check-out: Verify patient information, collect co-payments, and issue receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • EPIC Software Management: Utilize EPIC software to manage patient schedules, appointments, and medical records.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Support: Assist medical staff on each floor, manage necessary paperwork, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately and efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
