Medical Front Desk Role

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Medical Front Desk professional to join our team at Medix. As a key member of our cross-functional organization, you will play a vital role in creating a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet Patients and Families: Provide a warm welcome and ensure a positive first impression for patients and their families.
  • Triage Patient Messages: Respond to patient-related messages and questions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with Clinical Care: Collaborate with the clinical care team to resolve patient issues and provide support as needed.
  • Manage Daily Faxes: Check and disperse daily faxes to the appropriate team members.
  • Maintain Medical Records: Scan documents and maintain accurate medical records in practice management systems.
  • Support Medical Record Requests: Assist with the fulfillment of medical record requests as needed.
  • Register Patients: Recognize, welcome, and register patients at check-in, serving as a role model for patient service.
  • Guide Patients through Intake Processes: Assist patients through intake processes, new patient forms, and other necessary paperwork.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Healthcare Background: At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in using Excel, team chats, and instant messaging.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
