About the Role

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operations of our community's facilities and grounds are safe, clean, and comfortable for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, with a working knowledge of building systems and related code requirements.
  • Demonstrate a high proficiency in systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and code compliance.
  • Experience in maintaining water source heat pumps is preferred.
  • Possess an understanding of OSHA and life safety regulations.
  • One year of supervisory and management experience, including recruiting staff, coaching, performance management, and responsibility for daily department operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
  • Competent in organizational, time management skills, and good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications.
