Job Summary:

The Training and Education Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of all training and education events within the organization. This role requires the ability to initiate, coordinate, organize, and implement training and workshop details, ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and facilitate workshops, conferences, and other training events
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and deliver training content
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
  • Manage training budgets and resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
  • Related experience and/or training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Parent Network of WNY is a not-for-profit agency that provides education and resources for families of individuals with special needs. We offer 1-on-1 support and education through resources, workshops, and support groups to assist families in understanding their disability and navigating the support service system.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Parent of an individual with special needs or primary recipient of services
  • Experience working with families and individuals with disabilities

Work Environment:

Full-time employees work a 35-hour week. Salary range is $42,000 - $47,000.
