Job Overview

We are a leading mortgage lending company, CrossCountry Mortgage LLC, seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Loan Partner to join our team. As a Loan Partner, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their dream of homeownership by providing exceptional service and support throughout the loan process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Handle all customer inquiries and in-house communications to ensure a smooth and efficient loan process.
  • Loan Package Management: Verify the accuracy of loan package documents and submit any discrepancies to the loan officer or originator.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including making and screening calls, booking appointments, and assembling loan documentation.
  • Loan Coordination: Serve as the primary contact and liaison between clients, branch managers, and assigned mortgage loan originators, coordinating meetings to discuss follow-up items.
  • Lead Generation: Contact new leads to take mortgage applications and verify income and other required documentation.
  • Communication: Provide clear and effective communication to clients, ensuring a positive experience throughout the loan process.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to ensure a seamless loan process from start to finish.
Requirements
  • Team Player: Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients.
  • Industry Experience: At least 5+ years of professional office environment required, preferably as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant.
  • Loan Product Knowledge: Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/fixed, commercial loans, etc.
  • Certifications: NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired.
  • Technical Skills: Computer proficiency required, including MS Office, with some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent phone skills with a friendly and approachable personality.
  • Passion for Helping Others: A passion for helping people and making a difference in their lives.
  • Work Ethic: Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Mortgage Industry Experience: Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
