Role Overview

The Loan Administrator plays a crucial role in providing administrative assistance to loan officers. This position is primarily responsible for managing loan documentation related to various types of loans, including commercial, agricultural, and consumer loans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process loan applications, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and maintain loan documentation, such as promissory notes, security agreements, and collateral documents.
  • Verify that insurance requirements are accurate and current.
  • Ensure all documents are properly executed and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and track loan files to keep them updated with relevant information and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain the file monitoring system (Tickler Reports).
  • Assist in preparing loan disbursements and payments, ensuring accurate record-keeping throughout the loan cycle.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, providing assistance and addressing inquiries.
  • Collaborate with lending officers, credit analysts, and other departments to facilitate loan origination and servicing processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking systems, such as Fiserv Premier, is a plus.
  • Attention to detail is essential for this role.
