Position Title: Educational Leadership Coordinator

To support the principal in advancing the educational success of every student.

Qualifications:
  • Certification as a middle school educational leader by the relevant educational authority, with a minimum of five years of successful teaching or administrative experience at the secondary level.
  • Exemplary administrative and leadership capabilities.
  • Proven track record of effective collaboration with students, parents, educators, staff, and school leaders.

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Middle School Concept is advantageous.
  • Strong history of consistent attendance.
  • Familiarity with educational legislation and improvement planning.

Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the School Principal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the principal in the comprehensive administration of the school.
  • Collaborate effectively as a member of the Young World Physical Education administrative team.
  • Participate in the teaching and learning team to oversee curriculum supervision and instructional practices.
  • Coordinate curriculum development and implementation in partnership with the principal, directors, and educators.
  • Administer the school's assessment programs.
  • Lead and support the development and execution of professional development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the principal and administrative team to prepare annual budget requests.
  • Utilize data to inform practice and decision-making across all performance areas.
  • Engage with parent, faculty, and student groups to promote educational activities.
  • Address student behavior concerns in collaboration with teachers and staff.
  • Oversee co-curricular and extracurricular activities as needed.
  • Assist in scheduling for educators and students.
  • Manage student attendance in partnership with families and support teams.
  • Develop and implement recognition programs for students and family engagement events.
  • Coordinate and assign substitute personnel as required.
  • Assist the principal in evaluating teaching staff as per contractual agreements.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the principal.
