Position Overview

At Dave & Buster's, we are dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our Guests. Our Front Desk/Host role is essential in ensuring that every Guest feels welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide an exceptional Guest experience by combining top-notch service with our exciting offerings of food, drinks, and entertainment.
  2. Act as the face of the establishment, greeting Guests with enthusiasm and positivity while managing game rentals and merchandise sales.
  3. Maintain open communication with management regarding any issues or noteworthy occurrences, ensuring prompt resolutions.
  4. Bid farewell to Guests, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging their return.
  5. Prepare for shifts by ensuring the Front Desk area is fully stocked with necessary supplies and organized for efficiency.
  6. Oversee the cleanliness and orderliness of the Front Desk and Host station, ensuring all materials are well-maintained.
  7. Conduct inventory checks as required and assist fellow Team Members to foster a collaborative work environment.
  8. Manage seating arrangements and wait times effectively, providing clear communication to Guests and Team Members.
  9. Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth checkout process for Guests.
  10. Exhibit a friendly demeanor and maintain a professional appearance at all times.

Qualifications

We seek individuals who can communicate effectively, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. A commitment to Guest satisfaction and teamwork is essential.
