We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Foundation Health, LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support services to our patients and visitors.
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and acknowledging patients, visitors, and co-workers as they enter and exit our facilities.
Ensure patients and visitors are screened for COVID-19 and provide temperature checks as needed.
Distribute requested items between departments as needed and restock supplies.
Provide safety monitoring and ensure patient environments are safe and secure.
Transport patients safely and efficiently between departments.
Collect, clean, and disinfect patient care equipment and dispose of clinical waste properly.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
BLS certification required upon hire.
Ability to stand for long periods and interpret verbal and written information.
Basic computer skills and organizational skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Six months previous healthcare or customer service experience preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
