About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Clinical Assistant to join our team at Foundation Health Partners. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.



Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams and treatments by taking and recording vital signs, symptoms, and other necessary measurements.
  • Assist providers with exams and minor in-office procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Act as a resource to clinicians, providing optimal patient care and support.
  • Provide clerical support with patient notifications and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely completion of medical records.
  • Schedule and re-schedule patients as necessary, confirming appointments and informing patients of physician orders or special instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and functional environment, including cleaning and disinfection of equipment, exam rooms, and storage areas.
  • Order supplies and stock patient care areas, monitoring inventory and ensuring the availability of necessary medications and equipment.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with a working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent organizational skills, effective human relations, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, computer literacy, and keyboarding skills.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Certified Nursing Assistant experience or additional related education and/or experience.
