Job Title: Senior Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

Trinity Health is seeking a Senior Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our Behavioral Health Team at Saint Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, educate patients and their families about mental health issues, and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and appropriate treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Connecticut
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
